Welcome from Brian Pearce, President 2009-2010.

Rotary is a  unique  organization, with a unique mission and structure.  Our system of annual leadership changes require us to take active steps to maintain continuity.  With every Rotaryyear comes new opportunities - and it is our responsibility to welcome them.  Each of us will have a different way of welcoming these opportunities and it is what makes us unique.

Our club is unique.  No matter where you go - You will never find another club like ours There are just so many opportunities for each and everyone of us to satisfy our own needs, desires and most importantly to have FUN.

Our unique Club owes so much to those who have gone before us as they have given us the richness to make our Club unique.

"The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands" please ensure that as we go forward, we continue to have FUN. and maintain our uniqueness.

At a special event at UN headquarters in New York on 4 November 2006 celebrating Rotary - UN Day, Kofi Annan acknowledged Rotary’s invaluable partnership and said - "Rotary is living proof that people with diverse backgrounds can learn to get along with each other and concentrate more on the things we have in common, rather than on the things that drive us apart."
